We are a group of 8th grade boys from Charles City Iowa participating in the Lexus Eco Challenge Final Challenge.  We believe that providing information to individuals about how to "Live Green" will empower them to make changes in their daily lives that can positively impact the environment.  We feel that numerous little changes made locally can have a global impact.  Please share your thoughts and experience with us under "Share Your Ideas"

To determine the effectiveness of our information campaign we decided to conduct a small sample survey of people before and after they got our information.  We surveyed the staff members at the middle school both before and after they viewed our website and we surveyed the Live Green Workshop participants both before and after the workshop.  Survey results can be found in the documents to the right.

Beyond the Challenge
The Eco Dudes aren't stopping when the the Eco Challenge is over!  The Dudes will be presenting their information at the Pfizer Animal Health Earth Day Seminar on April 25th.  They will be presenting along with a number of major corporations (such as Mid-American Energy) in order to help inform the employees how to implement eco-friendly practices.

The Dudes will also be participating in the Earth Day events sponsored by the DNR at the Floyd County Fairgrounds on April 17th.
